VIA 1 Toronto to Ottawa
If you are interested in participating in this adventure train trip from Toronto to Ottawa on Thursday September 28th please contact John Pratt at:
Note from JP
This train is leaving the station again this year!
For all those interested, I will/can book a spot for you on Train 42, leaving Toronto eat 12:20 in the afternoon and arriving in Ottawa late that afternoon.
This is a ONE WAY trip . . you will have to find your own way home.
Cost will be approx. $120-$140 depending on the numbers. A meal, and more importantly, all bevvies are included in this price. The way I did it last year was I booked and payed in advance . . .everyone can settle up with me on the train. For this price there are no refunds.
Please confirm back to me by noon on Friday June 30th. I’d like to get this booked this week if possible.
It was a lot of fun the first time. A great way to start the weekend.

Apparently tickets have yet to go on sale and I will be advised by Stefano as to when they are available. Since the chances are that the game will be sold out, it is imperative that you purchase your tickets as quickly as possible.

Carleton Alumni Office: I have been in touch with the Alumni Office who have been kind enough to post our reunion event on their alumni website under the events tab. Below is the link:
Again the purpose behind this is to help promote the reunion and reconnect with the alumni to whom we have lost contact with.
There are many events in the works for Carleton’s 75th Anniversary this year.
Have a look at how we are profiled:
Transportation: We are looking into the feasibility of renting a mini bus or school bus to transport everyone around from one venue to another. This way help to eliminate the headaches of moving everyone around by individual vehicles and the need to find parking.
That’s all the information for now and I will be in touch in the near future.
Reunion Web site: Please register your attendance on this web site. We encourage everyone, whether you are attending this years reunion or not, to sign up to the website where you can post additional information and updates on yourself or other alumni, and follow the conversations in the Third Russell Forum.
